Fun Cam allows you to control remotely or automatically the built in Photo Camera, Movie and Voice recorder features of your PalmOS PDA.

Events can be triggered by a timer (time-lapse from 1 to 9999 seconds, or a specific hour:minute) or any Infra-Red signal (use any TV/DVD remote!), or with a powerful combination of both methods.

Time events can be combined with a Low Power mode that preserves battery by powering OFF the PDA when it has to wait for more than 10 seconds, turning it on just when the next event is due. It means that you can take hundreds of pictures spread across many hours and your battery will be almost as fresh as it was when you started. Example: a 100 photo time-lapse on a Zire71, where it shoot once per minute, used only 2% of the battery.

Other limitations:

• If the infrared port is on a side (like on NX73V and NX80V), you will have a front range of only 3 feet or so and side range of 10 feet or more.
